In his opening remarks, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chau Dinh Thanh emphasized:
"HCMUTE has more than 15 years of experience in implementing international joint training programs under the 2+2 and 3+1 models with many prestigious universities around the world. Notably, this year the number of English-taught programs at the university has increased from 13 to 17. This demonstrates our strong commitment to developing English-medium education and creating opportunities for students to participate in international programs.”
This development not only expands the university’s training scale but also reaffirms HCMUTE’s dedication to enhancing education quality and creating favorable conditions for students to access advanced education and broaden their learning opportunities.

At the seminar, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Truong Dinh Nhon provided an overview of the university’s current international programs. Currently, the faculty offers 10 joint programs delivered entirely in English, with over 4,000 students enrolled. This number is expected to surpass 5,000 in the 2025–2026 academic year, a scale equivalent to a large college.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Truong Dinh Nhon also shared that what makes HCMUTE’s international programs stand out is not only the variety of disciplines but also the highly competitive tuition fees compared to other institutions.
Notably, in the 2025 academic year, international program students at HCMUTE are eligible for scholarships equivalent to those for regular students: talent scholarships up to 35 million VND per award, admission scholarships for students scoring 26 points or higher, along with various incentives for children of alumni and university staff.
In addition, HCMUTE students have the opportunity to receive attractive transfer scholarships ranging from 15% to 100% of tuition fees when continuing their studies at partner institutions abroad, such as: University of Sunderland, University of Northampton (UK), University of Adelaide (Australia), Tongmyong University (South Korea), Chang Gung University (Taiwan), Kettering University (USA), Griffith University (Australia), and the newest partner, ASSCA University (France).
Besides the sharing sessions by representatives from partner institutions, the seminar also featured a direct Q&A session between students, parents, and experts/advisors. Many questions regarding transfer conditions, visa procedures, tuition fees, scholarships, and career opportunities after graduation were thoroughly addressed.
