This summer activities series made science and engineering more accessible to high school students with the aim to enhance their enthusiasm and passion for science and technology, which is the key factor to keep up with pace of change in world’s knowledge.

Representative students from 29 high schools for the gifted attended the summer camp so that their creativity and passion for science were encouraged by academic and practical activities. The summer camp also provided students with basic knowledge as well as initial ideas for the Engineering & Science Competition held by Ministry of Education, which made connection between HCMUTE and highs schools from Da Nang to Ca Mau.

With 7-day summer camp comprising “Creative Thinking” and “Robot Progamming” activities, the students were introduced to inceptive definitions of technological world’s development, STEM, basic and applied programming and Internet of Things (IoT).

Besides, the students also experienced teamwork and brainstorming; were shared the methods and tips at university, which enhanced interactions and meaningful memories
Being a sharing – connective community service which represented the “Humanity” philosophy of HCMUTE, the summer camp is expected to intensify passion for creativity as well as connection and cooperation to contribute to society.
