On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 – April 30, 2025), Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education (HCMUTE) was honored as an outstanding unit with a strong brand and key products of Ho Chi Minh City.

On the evening of April 15, 2025, at the headquarters of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee, HCMUTE was proudly recognized by the City as a distinguished unit with a prominent brand and flagship products during the celebration marking 50 years since the Liberation of the South and National Reunification.

The event, organized by the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee, aimed to acknowledge and honor enterprises and public institutions with outstanding achievements and significant contributions to the city’s socio-economic development throughout the processes of industrialization, modernization, integration, and innovation. With a history of more than 60 years of establishment and development, HCMUTE has affirmed its role as a leading center for training, research, and technology transfer in the fields of engineering and technology in Vietnam.

Being selected as one of Ho Chi Minh City's exemplary educational brands is a well-deserved recognition of HCMUTE's continuous efforts in innovating academic programs, promoting applied scientific research, enhancing international cooperation, and fostering strong ties with businesses to train high-quality human resources that meet the development needs of both the city and the nation during the integration era.
 

Accompanying the City in scientific and technological programs, innovation and entrepreneurship initiatives, and vocational education, HCMUTE has been implementing various initiatives and models that connect the university with businesses and localities. The university also takes the lead in high-tech fields such as automation, robotics, artificial intelligence, and renewable energy.
