On March 16th morning the introducing day of the “GO GREEN IN THE CITY” competition was held by Vietnam Schneider Electric Company with the assistance of the Enterprise Relations at the Great Hall, UTE.
On the side of Vietnam Schneider Electric, there were Ms. Nguyen Minh Ngoc – Director of the Domestic Training and Social Media Department; Ms. Nguyen Thi Huyen Tran – Senior Expert of Recruitment; Mr. Doan Quang Trung – Recruiting Expert. On the side of our university, there were Dr. Nguyen Minh Tam–the Dean of the Faculty of Electrical and Electronic Engineering; Ho Thi Anh Tuyet, M.A. –Head of the Enterprise Relations and more than 400 students from the faculties in UTE.
At the beginning of the event Ms. Nguyen Minh Ngoc and Mr. Doan Quang Trung introduced and explained some queries for students as well as the teachers about the competition. “GO GREEN IN THE CITY” is a competition for students from all over the world with the topic of the Sustainable Energy Solutions from Schneider Electric–the global expert on energy management and automation with the participation of more than 40,000 competitors from upward of 180 countries in this 7th occurrence of this contest. The competition is for students who are second-year or higher and full-time masters in all careers. The topics for the competition are the ideas for the Sustainable Energy Solutions (Clean and Green):
1. Sustainability and Integration;
2. Solutions for cooling and using energy effectively;
3. Effective electricity storage and energy use;
4. Integrated energy system;
5. Your own ideas about the solutions for improving the environment.
The paper for submission should be in English with the ideas ensuring the creativity, technical application, economic application; of all, creativity is the most vital factor. Candidates will form a team of two in the competition, at least one is female. The global champion team will be sponsored a tour in two optional countries where Schneider Electric’s headquarters are located and have the opportunity for working in Schneider Electric Company in their own countries.
Also in the ceremony, the senior expert of recruitment of Vietnam Schneider Electric introduced the working opportunities for students in our university. Schneider Electric is a multinational company which has a modern and active working environment and develops sustainably and widely all over the world. Besides, Schneider Electric also shared some experience in interviewing with common situations and questions as well as how to respond and answer.
The introducing day received the positive interaction from our students with a variety of questions about the GO GREEN IN THE CITY competition as well as the opportunities for practicing and working in Schneider Electric Company. All of them were thoroughly answered by Vietnam Schneider Electric.
