On May 26, 2020, “Zero dong market” was held by HCMUTE joint-degree students to offer many products free of charge such as eggs, rice, cooking oil, pens, notebooks, and etc.
This program was donated by HCMUTE lecturers and staff with VND 48,000,000, and attracted hundreds of students including Ms. Vietnam 2018-Tran Tieu Vy as an organizer.
This is a meaningful activity to support poor students and strengthen “humanity” –an aspect of HCMUTE educational philosophies. Besides, “it is a golden opportunity to learn and experience. We can apply knowledge taught into reality. For some students organizing this activity, useful skills can be learned and achieved through teamwork, problem-solving and making products”, Tieu Vy said .
