With the desire to create a healthy and meaningful sports playground while strengthening the bonds among generations of alumni, faculty, and businesses, on September 21, 2025, the Alumni Association of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education (HCMUTE) organized the 2025 Alumni Sports Festival, attracting the enthusiastic participation of nearly 200 athletes from various units, enterprises, and alumni groups.
This year’s Sports Festival took place in a lively atmosphere to celebrate the 63rd anniversary of the University’s establishment (1962–2025) and the 3rd anniversary of the Alumni Association (2022–2025). The competition featured three sports: football, tennis, and pickleball, gathering 5 football teams, 30 tennis pairs, and 17 pickleball pairs. The matches delivered many thrilling and exciting moments, showcasing determination, fair play, and solidarity.

In each event, athletes not only displayed impressive professional skills but also spread the spirit of unity, exchange, and learning.
At the closing ceremony, the Organizing Committee awarded cups, medals, and prizes to the outstanding teams and athlete pairs across the three sports. In addition, the event marked an important milestone with the introduction of the Provisional Executive Committee of the HCMUTE Alumni Business Club, opening a new direction in strengthening the connection among the university, alumni, and enterprises.

He added that in recent years, the University has made strong progress, becoming a source of pride for many generations of teachers, alumni, and students.
