In a thrilling month-long competition involving ten teams, the Alumni Football Tournament at Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education(HCMUTE) came to a close on November 12, 2023. The official ceremony, held at the university's stadium, saw the Electrical and Electronics Business Club (EEBC) emerge as the champions for the 2023 season, defeating Vehicle and Energy Engineering Alumni Team with a solid 4-2 score.

In the lead-up to the finals, from October 8 to October 27, twelve group stage matches unfolded, with ten teams vying for a spot in the knockout stage. The quarterfinals witnessed intense sportsmanship and enthusiastic support from fans for the four matchups. The standout teams advancing to the semi-finals were the Electrical and Electronics Business Club, the League of Legends 1 - Chemistry - Printing - Fashion Department Alumni Team, the Mechanical and Dynamic Engineering Department Alumni Team, and the FPT Software Team. In the semi-finals, the EEBC showcased superior skills and strategic coordination, securing their place in the final with a 3-1 victory over the League of Legends 1 in the first semi-final. The second semi-final witnessed the Mechanical and Dynamic Engineering Department Alumni Team dominating FPT Software with a convincing 5-1 win.

The climactic final unfolded on November 12 at the University Sports Stadium, featuring a vibrant atmosphere and high determination from both teams. From the outset, the EEBC created dangerous scoring opportunities, with Nhat Tan's technically exquisite shot in the 6th minute securing an early lead. Despite facing a tough opponent, the Mechanical and Dynamic Engineering Department Alumni Team fought back, equalizing to 1-1 with a stunning long-range shot from Ngoc Tien. The second half saw a more balanced play, but the EEBC, led by the exceptional striker Phung Thien, extended their lead to 2-1. As the match progressed, the EEBC's superior performance secured a 4-2 victory. In the third-place match, League of Legends 1 secured a 4-1 victory, claiming the overall rankings as follows:
