On the afternoon of July 4, 2023, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education (HCMUTE) and Open Mind Technologies Asia Pacific Co., Ltd. signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) at Meeting Room I of HCMUTE. The content of the cooperation is related to CAD/CAM/CNC technology and the application of hyperMILL CAM software as training software at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering.

Attending the signing ceremony, from HCMUTE's side, there were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Hieu Giang – Vice President - Acting President; leaders of Enterprises Relation Office including MA. Pham Huu Thai – Head of Office, MA. Le Phan Nhat Hang - Deputy Head of Office; leaders of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, including Assoc. Prof. Dr. Truong Nguyen Luan Vu – Vice Dean, in charge of the Faculty, along with the lecturers from the faculties.
From Open Mind Technologies Asia Pacific Co., Ltd, there was the attendance of Mr. Kok - Fu Chan - Regional Sales Manager; Hoang Van Consulting Services Co., Ltd. is an authorized agent of hyperMILL software in Vietnam, with Mr. Hoang Bao Khuong - Deputy Director, Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Tram - Sales Engineer, Mr. Le Ba Trung - Engineer applications, Mr. Tran Ngoc Vinh – Application Engineer.
HCMUTE and Open Mind exchanged the Memorandum of Understanding
The parties will collaboratively develop training programs related to CAD/CAM/CNC technology and implement hyper MILL CAM as the official training software in Ho Chi Minh City. In addition, Open Mind Technologies Asia Pacific Co., Ltd. will also sponsor 50 sets of hyperMILL educational licenses for Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education to serve the teaching and training activities of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering.
To prepare for the implementation of hyperMILL software in the classroom, the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering collaborated with Hoang Van Consulting Services Co., Ltd. to host a hyperMILL course for lecturers. After the signing ceremony, the company representatives gave the HCMUTE lecturers with certificates of completion for the hyperMILL course.
