As part of the program, VinFast donated two electric vehicles (VF8 and VF9) to support teaching, hands-on training, and research activities. In addition, the company provided learning materials, technical curricula on electric vehicles, and branding for the practice area, contributing to the development of a modern, practice-oriented learning environment aligned with industry standards.

Notably, both parties will collaborate on specialized initiatives such as organizing “Train-the-Trainer” programs for lecturers and developing a course titled “Basic Maintenance and Repair Techniques for VinFast Electric Vehicles” in accordance with enterprise standards. This marks an important step toward standardizing training content and enhancing teaching capacity in the field of electric vehicle technology.

Furthermore, VinFast has committed to supporting academic and career development activities, including sponsoring awards for electric vehicle engineering competitions, providing funding for research projects and theses, as well as offering internship opportunities and prioritizing recruitment of outstanding students from the collaborative program.

In the context of global challenges such as climate change and resource depletion, the development of green energy and sustainable transportation—particularly electric vehicles—has become an inevitable strategy for many countries. The transition from internal combustion engines to clean energy-powered vehicles not only reduces greenhouse gas emissions and protects the environment but also promotes technological innovation and the restructuring of the automotive industry toward a more modern and intelligent direction.

In this context, the collaboration between Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education and VinFast Production and Trading Co., Ltd. holds practical significance, contributing to aligning education with global green development trends. Through access to advanced electric vehicle technology, students not only enhance their professional competencies but also develop a sustainable mindset, equipping them to adapt to the rapidly changing labor market in the era of global energy transition.
