On the afternoon of November 27th, 2020, at the Grand Hall of Block A in HCMC University of Technology and Education, the opening ceremony of International Joint-Training Programs and Graduation Ceremony of Cooperative-Training Program with University of Sunderland was held with the participation of hundreds of bachelors, engineers, freshmen.
Opening the ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Hieu Giang - Vice President of HCMC University of Technology and Education gave his thanks to the delegates of partner universities: Sunderland (UK), Northampton (UK), Kettering (USA), Tongmyong University (Korea), TMC trainees (Singapore) and new students, engineers of the school year of 2020-2021 for attending the ceremony.
At the same time, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Hieu Giang affirmed the cooperative and lasting relationship between HCMC University of Technology and Education and other universities over the years. Hopefully, all universities would continuously be trusting partners which connected the national and international training programs; so that students of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education had the opportunity to learn from the global development of education.
The most memorable moment for students was awarding degrees of Bachelor and Engineer to 28 New Bachelors in Business Administration and 11 New Engineers in Electrical and Electronics Engineering in the training program in cooperation with Sunderland University (UK) in 2020-2021.
Simultaneously, as a recognition of efforts in the learning process, 15 students with the best academic achievements received 15 scholarships which were worth 50% for their master's program at UK from Sunderland University and 15 encouragement scholarships from HCMC University of Technology and Education.
At the end of the graduation ceremony, a new bachelor, Nguyen Thi Phuong Hanh, represented new engineers and bachelors to express joy and pride in the most memorable moment of student time. Phuong Hanh also expressed her sincere gratitude to the teachers of Ho Chi Minh University of Technology and Education as well as the teachers of Sunderland University for assisting students in study and giving them opportunities to develop on their future career path.
