In the afternoon of December 11th
, Toyota Viet Nam Fund (TVF) awarded Toyota scholarship 2012 to 27
students and 3 excellent groups from HCM City University of
Technology(UTH), HCM City University of Industry (IUH) and University of
Technical Education Ho Chi Minh City (UTE) at UTE.
Mrs. Dang
Phan Thu Huong (Deputy General Director of Toyota Viet Nam) and Mr. Do
Huu Tuyet (Deputy Director of the representative office in Ho Chi Minh
City) awarded scholarships to students of UTE.
In addition, TVF also gave automobile engines to Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry and University of Technical Education Ho Chi Minh City (one engine/school). Its aim is to support equipments for teaching in Faculty of Automotive Engineering.
In the
ceremony, Deputy General Director of Toyota Viet Nam said that the
company would improve these programs to contribute much more in
Vietnamese education -training and human resources.

Mrs. Dang Phan Thu Huong gave automobile engine to Dr. Lam Mai Long
Deputy
President of UTE Dr. Lam Mai Long acknowledged great contribution of
Toyota Viet Nam to not only University of Technical Education Ho Chi Minh City but also the Vietnamese education system. He really believed that these scholarships would help to realize students` dreams.

In
their programs, TVF awarded 146 scholarships to 131 excellent students
of environment technology, engineering, technical major (3.000.000 VND/
scholarship) and 15 scientific research groups (10.000.000 VND/
scholarship) with the total value 543.000 VND. This will encourage and
motivate scientific researches in students.
