Coming from the International Education Exchange Center in the afternoon of November 24th, all the center’s students, personnel and teachers had a great time immersing in cozy and touching moments with the children there.
Que Huong humanitarian center (61/23 DT 743 street, Tan Long quarter, Tan Dong Hiep ward, Di An district, Binh Duong province) - supporting orphan and disabled children group - is a non-profit organization which was empowered by the Vietnam Relief association for Handicapped Children. This center is self-reliant for all expense and also calls for contribution.
At 2p.m, more than 60 students and personnel of the International Education Exchange Center gathered to Que Huong humanitarian center; then, they were divided into groups joining some activities there. Especially, there were many teachers from other countries also participated in; they were from India, Switzerland, Philippine, etc.
The playground had been swept; the corridor and the stage had been cleaned. The balconies and fences had also been tidied up in order to make a new fresh air, and a female students group joined to help the nursemaids prepare a meal for the children.
Ms. Ly Thien Trang - The group representative and also the vice director of the International Education Exchange Center - gave the children gifts which are necessaries for their meals and some wall fans; these wall fans then were fitted up by students of UTE. Ms. Ly Thien Trang said the day’s activities were to develop students’ sense of community, especially the students in the International Education Exchange Center. A good sense of community is also a demand for the Managing, Communication, Knowledge and Information subject.
Thirteen million Vietnamese dongs for this activity was taken from students’ contribution and the center’s own fund. Besides, Mr. Thai Ba can - the President - had also sent his gifts to the children.
