On December 10th, 17th and 24th, HCMUTE formally celebrated the Commencement Ceremony and handed the diplomas for 146 new Masters, 2204 new Engineers and Bachelors.
Overview of the Ceremony
In the graduation session July and September, 2017, there were 2204 new engineers and bachelors. Of all, there were 61 bachelors graduated before the due date, and 1562 engineers and bachelors graduated right on schedule. There were 121 new engineers and bachelors get Distinction degree, 1959 Credit degree and Strong pass degrees are 124. The total number of new engineers and bachelors above Credit degree reached 94,37%.

Assoc. Prof. Do Van Dzung – party committee secretary, president of HCMUTE stated his words to congratulate the new graduates and affirmed that it was the honor, pride and the accomplishment that they deserved to receive after a long period of making effort absorbedly to study with the assistance of our lecturers, the departments and their parents.
According to Mr. Dzung, being graduated was not the milestone to finish the schooling; it was the most vital landmark for the life-long studying. “There are always challenges in life; therefore, it is necessary to keep the spirit of HCMUTE’s students; that is “always learn, search, practice, innovate and be creative, adaptable to the hash changes and development of the society, to illustrate our university in Vietnam; contribute the youth, create and protect our country.” said Mr. Dzung.
New Bachelor Mai Thai Khang represented fresh graduates to deliver speech at the ceremony
HCMUTE always welcome our graduates to come back and be the strategic partners in terms of training, scientific research and recruitment, contribute to the development of the university. President Do Van Dzung also sent his sincere thanks to the parents who put their faith in HCMUTE to be the place to train their children. To response that faith, HCMUTE has been making effort continually to be one of the most prestige universities in the whole country, provide the high-quality human resource and meet the recruitment needs of the businesses.

In order to acknowledge the efforts of students in studying, HCMUTE decided to reward especially to the new Bachelors and Engineers who are the top students and those who have the excellent results or actively contributed to the general activities of the university in the whole term.
