In his remarks, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Hieu Giang, President of HCM-UTE, emphasized that the university’s achievements today are the result of continuous learning, extensive collaboration with domestic and international partners, and the dedicated contributions of generations of leaders, lecturers, staff, and students.

He shared: “What HCM-UTE has achieved today is not the accomplishment of a single collective or a particular stage of development, but rather the result of the inheritance and dedication of many generations. We always regard learning, cooperation, and experience sharing as key drivers of growth. In the years ahead, the university will continue to preserve and promote the values that have been built while further investing in modern facilities, learning environments, and research infrastructure to provide the best possible conditions for students to study, innovate, and integrate internationally.”

During the discussion, leaders from both universities exchanged valuable experiences in university governance, human resource development, infrastructure planning, industry engagement, technology transfer, and scientific research promotion. Discussions also focused on trends in training high-quality human resources to meet the demands of sustainable development, digital transformation, and energy transition in the new era.

Notably, Hanoi University of Mining and Geology is one of the members of the Network of Centers of Excellence and Talent Development in Renewable Energy and Hydrogen Energy, coordinated by HCM-UTE. This serves as an important foundation for the two institutions to further expand collaboration in scientific research, education, and human resource development in the field of green energy, contributing to the achievement of the country’s sustainable development goals.

The meeting was conducted in an open, sincere, and cooperative atmosphere. The discussions not only enabled both universities to share practical experiences in institutional development but also opened up numerous opportunities for deeper cooperation in the future. Through these efforts, both institutions continue to strengthen the role of technical universities in training high-quality human resources, promoting innovation, and contributing to Vietnam’s socio-economic development.
