With the desire to join hands with the whole country to repel the COVID-19 pandemic, the "Repelling the COVID-19 with the Youth" program launched by Tuoi Tre Newspaper and Ho Chi Minh City Young Entrepreneurs Association in collaboration with HCMC University of Technology and Education organized the awarding ceremony of scholarships for HCMUTE students  whose condition were negatively affected by COVID-19.

The scholarship awarding ceremony took place on the morning of March 30th, 2021, at Meeting Room II of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education. At the ceremony, 40 students in difficult circumstances were awarded scholarships with a total cost of 80,000,000 VND. The entire budget was supported by the family of Mr. Dinh Van Dung, a former official of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education (1974 - 1982).
