On the afternoon of March 25th, 2021, HCMC University of Technology and Education held the Opening Ceremony of mini dormitory called "Full House" for female students only who were in disadvantaged situation and in need of free accommodation.

With an area of 500m2, the dormitory equipped with modern facilities such as bunk bed, table, chair, fan, cooking utensil, microwave, refrigerator, washing machine, vacuum cleaners, toilet, parking lot, surveillance camera, etc. can provide enough space for 30-40 students. They were mostly donated by teachers and sponsors. In addition, the dormitory also received sponsorship of 1 ton of rice from the director of Thanh Thong Woodworking CO., LTD and free internet sponsorship from Viettel.

There are 15 students in the dormitory now, and more applications are being considered. Besides, the Youth Union will open a small stall to help them make a living and support their family.
