On February 22, 2025, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education (HCMUTE) held the opening ceremony and orientation session for new students of the Distance Learning (DL) and Work-Study (WS) programs at the bachelor's level for the second intake of 2024.

In the morning, the opening ceremony and orientation for the DL program were conducted online at the UTE-TV studio. In the afternoon, the opening ceremony and orientation for the WS program took place in Meeting Room 2 of the university.

The event was attended by Dr. Quach Thanh Hai – Vice President of HCMUTE, leaders of Training Cooperation and Development Office, the Center for Digital Learning, and other relevant units.

In his opening speech, Dr. Quach Thanh Hai congratulated and encouraged the new students while emphasizing the importance of lifelong learning in an ever-evolving society. He highlighted that participating in DL and WS programs not only helps students enhance their knowledge but also opens up numerous career development opportunities.

Comprehensive Introduction to the Programs

During the event, the university provided an overview of the curriculum, helping new students understand the training roadmap, teaching methods, and assessment criteria.

For the DL program, students were guided on how to access the online learning system, effective self-study techniques, and support tools to optimize their knowledge acquisition. Meanwhile, the WS program focused on flexible study schedules, allowing students to balance work and studies while making the most of available academic resources.
