On the morning of July 21st UTE coordinated with Taiwan Association of Systems Science and Engineering (TASSE) and HCMC Department of Science and Technology to commence the International Conference on System Science and Engineering – ICSSE 2017 (from July 21st-23rd) 
     Present at the opening ceremony were the representative of the Ministry of Education and Training: Dr. Nguyen Hoang Lan—Deputy Director of the Department of Science, Technology, and Environment; representative of the Ministry of The Ministry of Science and Technology—Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Xuan Da, Director of the Southern Agency; representatives of HCMC Department of Science and Technology and provinces and cities with more than 200 scholars from Vietnam and abroad, and press agencies. 
     This conference was not only a forum for exchanging and researching scientific and technological application among specialists but was also a bridge to appeal for investment between Vietnam and the participating countries as well as for our Government’s attention to industries of system science and engineering in order to catch up with the Industrial Revolution 4.0, which is highly promising and challenging for developing countries, including Vietnam.  
     All the speeches will be reviewed for posting on the IEEE Xplore system. Besides, high quality ones will be selected for publication on ISL-ranked  journals.
