On July 30–31, 2026, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Engineering (HCM-UTE, formerly Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education) successfully hosted The 8th International Conference on Green Technology and Sustainable Development (GTSD 2026).

On the morning of August 13, 2026, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Engineering (HCM-UTE, formerly Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education) held a signing ceremony for a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) and an exchange session on experience in space leasing and utilization with the Dormitory and Urban Area Management Center of Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City (VNU-HCM).

HCM-UTE – Mahasarakham University (Thailand) Academic Exchange Program Concludes with Research for Sustainable Development

As part of the international cooperation program between Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Engineering (HCM-UTE, formerly Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education) and Mahasarakham University (MSU), Thailand, the Faculty of Foreign Languages at HCM-UTE, in collaboration with several academic faculties, organized an academic exchange program for 30 students from Mahasarakham University from July 6–9, 2026.

HCMUTE Alumni Sports Festival 2025: A Gathering of Sportsmanship and Connection with HCMUTE

With the desire to create a healthy and meaningful sports playground while strengthening the bonds among generations of alumni, faculty, and businesses, on September 21, 2025, the Alumni Association of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education (HCMUTE) organized the 2025 Alumni Sports Festival, attracting the enthusiastic participation of nearly 200 athletes from various units, enterprises, and alumni groups.
