After 60 years of establishment and development, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education has affirmed its important position in national and international education. Looking back on the development journey and grateful for the great gratitude of the predecessors in the early days of establishment, marking an important milestone in the history of the University, on the morning of October 5, 2022, the school solemnly organized the 60th Anniversary of the establishment of  Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education (October 5, 1962 - October 5, 2022).

The school is extremely honored to have the attention and attendance of many distinguished guests, especially the presence of Deputy Minister Hoang Minh Son, the representative of the Ministry of Education and Training participated and gave congratulatory speeches to the University, bringing honor to the school community.
Speaking at the ceremony, the Deputy Minister praised and highly appreciated the results achieved during the school's 60-year educational career. Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education has gradually affirmed its prestige and position in the country and internationally, especially since the school has a great attraction for talented new-generation students. Achievements in scientific research, technological innovation, close links with businesses, and international cooperation have partly contributed to the success of the University. Also at the ceremony, 4 groups and 11 individuals from Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education were honored to receive the Certificate of Merit from the Ministry of Education and Training in innovation, scientific research, and technology transfer. On this occasion, the University also awarded awards to faculty members who have made great contributions to the common cause of the University.
