To look back at the course of 5 years of scientific research which was filled with achievements, on the morning of October 3rd 2020, the conference “The summary of 5 years of scientific researches” was held in the Conference Hall II (sixth floor, the central building) of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education. 

The conference  was held with the attendance of numerous lecturers, researchers of the university

The conference was held in order to summarize the scientific research activities in the period of 2016-2021, discuss and propose the breakthrough solutions at the same time, developing the scientific-technological activities of the University to be stronger, more sustainable in the next period: 2022-2030.

Attending the conference, there were Dr. Tran Nam Tu - Deputy Director of Technological - Scientific and Environmental Department, Ministry of Education, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Hieu Giang - Vice president of the University, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Do Van Dung - the former president of HCMUTE (the period of 2013-2021), Science Technology and International Affairs Office, Deans and Vice-Deans of Faculties and Institutions, lecturers, researchers and postgraduate students of the University.

At the conference, Dr. Tran Nam Tu - Deputy Director of Technological - Scientific and Environmental Department, on behalf of the Ministry of Education and Training, delivered a speech about directing a way for the future plans of the University. Later, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hoang An Quoc - the head of the Science Technology and International Affairs Office   - delivered “The Final Report of Scientific Research Activities, period of 2016-2021”.

The experiences and essays about: “Scientific research in the way of technology transfer and commercialization of products in the Digital Age”were also presented in this workshop. This conference was the occasion to reward groups and individuals of great achievements in the scientific research activities in the period of 2026-2021. The categories of reward included:

-Teachers whose articles were published the most in journals like SCIE, SSCI, AHCI, Scopus

-Typical young teachers  in the scientific research activities, the period of 2016-2021.

- Typical female teachers in the scientific research activities, the period of 2016-2021.

-Staff and officials who have had many contribution to the scientific research activities, the period of 2016-2021

Granted merit certificates to individuals with high achievements and contribution to scientific research activities of the University over 5 years

The event was the occasion for the University to acknowledge the efforts, labor of teachers in the scientific research activities. The success of this workshop was the encouragement and motivation for the researchers to unceasingly contribute, in line with the educational philosophy of HCMUTE: “Humanity-Imagination-Integration”.
