Assoc. Prof. Do Van Dung - the president of HCMC University of Technology and Education paid a visit to the students who are staying at the school’s “Full House”.
“Full house” is the name of a free mini dormitory for female students, who are suffering from hardships in life. This dormitory is built outside of the school, in the area which was once a power station. Opened on March 23rd, with the vacancy for 30-40 students, the dormitory is equipped with all the necessities such as bunk beds, fans, kitchen, cooking utensils, bathrooms, a parking lot and surveillance cameras for ensuring security.
The president said: “I am very pleased to see that you have fitted into your new life at the new home which was built with the help of teachers, alumni and supporters. Although it is quite messy but it is quite clean and full of love and support from one to another. And I hope that you will soon be able to work so that you can support yourselves.
