In the afternoon of May 23rd, 2015, at Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education (HCMUTE), the university’s leaders had a meeting with representatives of Unilever Vietnam. The discussion was about training cooperation programs between the University and Unilever.
At the meeting, representatives of Unilever Vietnam stated their desire to cooperate with the University. The two sides exchanged views toward building training programs closely linked to general business needs and Unilever in particular. The Company wanted to implement training programs to encourage their employees to continue studying at HCMUTE to improve their expertise in mechanical engineering, automation, mechatronics, etc. Representatives of Unilever sent to HCMUTE a training program framework that Unilever Vietnam designed for learners when cooperation programs are implemented. Unilever will also facilitate students with direct practicing environment at Unilever. The University had some comments and discussions so that the two parties could design appropriate training programs with the slogan "business at the University".
Finally, the two sides agreed to conduct a survey at Unilever and implement training programs in the near future. Ending the meeting, representatives of Unilever visited the University’s practicing workshops as well as some faculties and centers.
