1. BACKGROUND
The Center for Professional Competence Training and National Vocational Skill Assessment, abbreviated as the CTA Center was established on March 1st, 2017 in accordance with Decision No. QĐ 144/QĐ-ĐHSPKT.
The CTA Center is a unit subordinate to the Technical Education Institute, HCMC University of Technology and Education.

2. FUNCTIONS
Organizing activities for training, improving Technical competence, Vocational skills practice, Technical teaching competence, and National Vocational Skill Assessment for students, teachers, and workers.

3. MISSION
- Training Technical competence, Vocational practice skills, Technical teaching competence for students, teacher, and workers. 
- National Vocational Skill Assessment for teachers and workers.
- Teaching vocational practice skills and organizing teaching practicum for students.
- Short-term training, improving in contracts and projects.
