Established in September 2006, The International Education Exchange Center (IEEC)of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education (HCMUTE).

Functions

- To advise and assist the President of HCMUTE in orienting the development, organizing and managing all collaborative training programmes in collaboration with foreign partners;

- To carry out and managevisa consultancy services, study abroad consultancy and document translation;

- To organize international summer camps, international study abroad seminars; 

- To cooperate with international organizations to offer short-term training programmes and award the international certificates;
- To provide benchmark standards for HCMUTE’s offices and departments in improving their organization and management of the local programmes in the internationalization direction to meet the demand of integration and globalization.

Collaborative training programmes:
- The IEEC is offering the collaborative training programmes in collaboration with Pearson Education, UK /TMC Singapore (BTEC HND Level 5) - University of Sunderland, UK (Top-Up degree progammes) in Business Management, Accounting and Financial Management and Electrical and Electronic Engineering. 
With Northampton University, UK in Logistics & Financial Trade, Hospitality Programmes. 
With Tongmyong University, Korea: We have 2-2 training programme in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Civil Engineering, Electrical & Electronic Engineering, ...
With Middlesex University, UK: We have 2-2 training programme in Mechatronics.

Outstanding Achievements
- The collaborative training programmes are strictly aligned/adhered to the internal and external verification procedures(that are carried out periodically) by the UK external verifiers every semester. The centre has gone through 22 times of external verification for BTEC HND Diploma Level 5 in Electrical and Electronic Engineering and Business Management 
- The final Top-up degree programmes in collaboration with University of Sunderland, UK has been periodically reviewed and concluded to be well-organized by a team of representatives from the University of Sunderland and the representatives of the external verifiers. 
     - The collaborative training programmes have been successfully delivered at HCMUTE. There are totally 700 graduates in Electrical and Electronic Engineering and in Business Management. Almost all graduates with international-recognised professional qualification in terms of knowledge and employability skills have been ready for entrepreneurial, employment and academic aspirations. They have been progressed in employment with high incomes in the firms, enterprises and businesses.
