The Short-term Training Center is a unit within HCMC University of Technology and Education to carry out the mission of connecting the University with society demand, i.e. bringing UTE closer to businesses and learners in need of studying and broaden their knowledge.

2. FUNCTIONS:
1) Consulting the Presidential Board on short-term training
2) Organizing the creation of training management regulations and financial management for short-term training
3) Supervising the regulation observation, which includes: signing contract, appeal to students, organizing financial implementation and management, conferring certifcates and degrees.
4) Organizing planning, acting as a hub with units in and outside the University to determine the demand, seeking partners, promotion, creating training special subject and consulting package--tailored training program.
5) Carrying out short-term training in response to the demand of society, and joint training program with businesses.
6) Organizing annual training plan for civil workers, officers, and staff of the University approved by the President
