     On March 25th, in order to contribute more to training activities of vocational training centers in universities as well as to bring best study and practice condition to the trainees, the ceremony of Toyota Technical Education support package handover from Toyota Motor Vietnam to HCMUTE was held at the auditorium of the said university. 

     Within the scope of Toyota Technical Education Program (T-TEP) for universities and technical colleges nationwide, HCMUTE has received technical training equipment for 2017 from the Technical Package Sponsorship of Toyota Motor Vietnam.

     The ceremony was honored by the presence of Mr. Toru Kinoshita - General Director of Toyota Motor Vietnam, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Do Van Dung - Rector of HCMUTE, representatives of the two parties as well as the national press.


   
     On behalf of the Board of Directors, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Do Van Dung expressed his appreciation of Toyota Motor Vietnam for the past 17 years. Through Toyota Technical Training Supporting Program, Toyota Motor Vietnam Company has sponsored a number of valuable training equipment and materials, annual training courses for trainers, etc. The quality of our Automotive Engineering Technology is one of the four AUN-QA accredited majors in the university in 2016. Students graduating from HCMUTE have been working in a variety of positions in domestic and foreign auto companies, many of whom hold important positions in Toyota dealerships.



     Also in his speech, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Do Van Dung, on behalf of HCMUTE, guaranteed to use the package effectively. These pieces of equipment are going to be directly used by the Faculty of Automotive Engineering to serve as a tool for technical training, creating a connection between theory and practice.



     Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Toru Kinoshita - General Director of Toyota Motor Vietnam extend his thanks to the school for the cooperation and assistance in the mission of social service, education and training support, and human resources development, with the desire to contribute to shaping and nourishing talent and enthusiasm of young generation who actively contribute to the prosperous development of Vietnam. Toru Kinoshita himself shows the joy and pride when witnessing the achievements of Toyota in general and Toyota Motor Vietnam Company in particular on his visit to HCMUTE.



   
    Specifically, Toyota Motor Vietnam will hand over 01 Toyota Camry 2.4, 02 engines, 02 Toyota gearboxes, 01 Innova car chassis and 05 door panels to General Jobs (GJ) vocational training centers at Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education as well as Body & Paint (BP) vocational training centers, in HCMUTE. These car models and technical equipment will be used to enhance practical skills of trainees, in combination with the standard textbook of T-TEP.
 
     With the aim of supporting vocational schools in the automotive sector to improve the quality of training of skilled technicians, contributing to improving the quality of education in Vietnam, Toyota Motor Vietnam began implementing the Toyota Technical Training Support Program (T-TEP) in 2000. HCMUTE is the first training institute in the country to cooperate with Toyota Motor Vietnam in this program. The equipment is annually upgraded and upgraded by Toyota Vietnam to keep pace with the development of world automobile technology.
