signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU)
GD & TD - On 21/1, HCMC University of Technology and Education (HCMUTE) signed the Memorandum of Understanding with the conjugate 21 universities, Korian colleges (WCC 21).
According to the memorandum, the two sides agreed to expand academic exchanges and vocational traning. Both sides agreed to learn and develop opportunities for cooperation in some aspects:
Exchange programs and vocational training; Exchange of teaching curriculum; Exchange of faculty and staff and professional training; Cooperation on enrollment and the related agreements; Exchange Human and Resource; Cooperate in the use of equipment and facilities; Other activities to reinforce cooperation;
Talking about the meaning of the signing, Ms. Vu Minh Hanh - Dean of Faculty of Garment Technology and Fashion Design (HCMUTE) - which received the benefit from the program, he said that:
"This is a good opportunity for lecturer to exchange updated curriculum, knowledge, specialized skills . Creating opportunities for students who are learning in South Korea, as well as cultural and cuisine exchange between two national."
"At the end of November, two lecturers of Doowon Technical University College University and 8 students visited Korea to join two hour course "Make-up", "Cooking" of two majors of Fashion Design and Home Economics which belong to Faculty of Garment Technology and Fashion Design (HCMUTE)."
After joining reference, the delegation exchanged and reciprocated with students and lecturers about the differences of faculties as well as teaching methods. After returning home, two lecturers suggested to the WCC 21 about the cooperation program between the two units.
