FFS is responsible for providing courses in natural sciences (Advanced Mathematics, General Physics). These are delivered in the first two years of general education and serve as the foundations for the subsequent study of field of concentration.
Research and Prize
Scientific research activities, compiling textbooks and teaching materials and professional self-development are among the main concerns of FFS. Research projects at the university and ministry levels have annually increased both in quantity and quality.
FFS has been actively changing its teaching methodology aiming at activating the students, increasing their ability of self-instruction, initiative-taking, critical thinking and the spirit of team working. FFS students participate in annual National Mathematical Olympiads and have won high prizes.
FFS is equipped with a system of physics laboratories with relatively sufficient apparatus. Textbooks are regularly revised and updated. Detail syllabi and test material banks are available for all teaching subjects.
