Today's socioeconomic development trend is increasingly diverse, opening up job opportunities for the younger generation. This is both an opportunity and a challenge for high school students and their parents in terms of choosing a career and a university that suits their abilities and personal interests. The Open Day provided students with a comprehensive answer to questions about university enrollment in 2022 in general and Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education in particular, as well as admission forms, registration documents, training fields and occupations, admission process, learning environment, facilities, and foreign joint training programs, and also orientation for domestic and international internship.

Students had the opportunity to experience technology models created by students, such as Robotic models, remote control devices, to name but a few, which provided entertainment as well as exciting music, visits to laboratories, practice workshops, lecture halls, and virtual reality experiences. The school organized a "Solar car racing" contest for students to directly experience and make their own technology products in order to arouse their passion for technical creativity. High school students, in particular, have the opportunity to interact with lecturers, alumni, and current students at the school to exchange real-life experiences as well as share about learning and working journey at HCMUTE.
