On May 7, 2022, at the Grand Hall of A Area, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education (HCMUTE) held the final round of “Animal Robot” season IV 2022 with the theme "Special dog squad". The contest was hosted by HCMUTE Innovation and Application Club in order to encourage University’s undergraduates to participate in scientific research.

“Animal Robot” contest was a beneficial and useful playground for undergraduates who enjoyed programming and designing robots. Candidates participating in the competition would have the opportunity to demonstrate their abilities and promote their critical thinking and creative abilities while also learning new skills and knowledge. Not only could the undergraduates unleash their creativity, but the judges also provided feedback and support, allowing the undergraduates to gradually improve their products and achieve the best results.

In 2022, 32 teams competed in the final round of “Animal Robot” season IV, with candidates ranging from freshman to sophomore in the majors of Electrical and Electronics Engineering faculty, Automation and Control,... The competition followed the rules of a direct confrontation between two teams, with two canine dogs overcoming obstacles on the floor in order to score points and finished the task.

After many rounds of competition between the teams, team Flames excellently won the first prize of the Animal Robot season IV 2022. The second prize was awarded to the LetBeBot team. And, the Third Prize and Consolation Prize belonged to Team FrogFighters and Team Sunny. Team Unbreakable received the competition's Favorite Team prize.
