Contributing to the control and prevention of the Covid-19 pandemic, “Preventing the Covid-19 with Tuoi Tre” program launched by Tuoi Tre Newspaper and Young Businesspeople Association of Ho Chi Minh City together with HCMC University of Technology and Education held “Give a Helping Hand to Needy New College Students” Scholarship Award Ceremony for the HCMUTE’s underprivileged undergraduates whose lives were affected by the Covid-19 pandemic.

 

The scholarship award ceremony took place on the morning of March 30th, 2021, in Meeting room 2 of the HCMUTE. At the ceremony, 40 disadvantaged undergraduates were awarded scholarships worth 80 million VND in total. All this funding was provided in accordance with the wishes of Mr. Dinh Van Dung, former staff of the HCMUTE (1974 - 1982). With these scholarships, the students were supported and encouraged to go on pursuing their education path.
