In honor of the 131th birth anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh (19/5/1890 - 19/5/2021), at 6pm on May 17, 2021 at the Meeting Room II, Youth Union and Students’ Association of High Quality Training Faculty, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education held the final round of the Olympic Contest on Marxism-Leninism and Ho Chi Minh Ideology “Nguoi la niem tin tat thang”. The contest ended with the best individuals and teams finally founded.


The Olympic Contest on Marxism-Leninism and Ho Chi Minh Ideology “Nguoi la niem tin tat thang” was held with the purpose of promoting studying and following President Ho Chi Minh’s example, creating an opportunity for Youth Union members to learn and share knowledge of life and revolutionary career of the patriot Nguyen Ai Quoc. The contest was also one of the activities aiming at teaching undergraduates Ho Chi Minh Ideology and educating young generations about patriotism and revolutionary spirit.

At the final round of the contest, there was the presence of teachers in the role of judges including Dr. Bui Xuan Dung, Vice Dean of High Quality Training Faculty, Dr. Nguyen Thi Phuong, Dean of Political Theory Faculty and Master Nguyen Thanh Phong, Deputy Head of General Administration and Personnel Office.


Making an opening speech at the final round of the contest “Nguoi la niem tin tat thang”, Dr. Bui Xuan Dung extended sincerest thanks to the University Executive Board for creating a favourable opportunity for the contest to take place despite the difficult and complicated situation of the pandemic. Moreover, he also sent best wishes to participating teams for a successful competition.


The final round of the contest “Nguoi la niem tin tat thang” was an exciting competition between three participating teams including CLC Team - 03 and CLC Team - 04 from High Quality Training Faculty and CKĐ Team from Vehicle and Energy Engineering Faculty. The final round consisted of four parts: Part 1 - “Hanh trinh tri thuc”, Part 2 “Ban linh tuoi tre”, Part 3 “Con duong chan ly” and Part 4 “Niem tin tat thang”. The contestants participated in a series of dramatic one-on-one and team battles to take scores for their teams.

Regardless of difficult challenges with tough questions and time pressure, the three teams excellently completed the competition with their best results. Finishing four parts of the contest, CKĐ Team - 01 won the first prize with their score reaching 149.3. The second prize went to CLC Team - 04 achieving the score of 110.3, and the third prize was awarded to CLC Team - 03 with the score of 36.4.

The Olympic Contest on Marxism-Leninism and Ho Chi Minh Ideology “Nguoi la niem tin tat thang” not only awarded prizes to excellent participating teams in the final round but also presented gifts including 1 prize for Best Individual and 4 prizes for Elite Individual to participants having good results in the online contest.

Despite the complicated situation of the Covid-19 pandemic, the final round of the Olympic Contest on Marxism-Leninism and Ho Chi Minh Ideology “Nguoi la niem tin tat thang” still took place successfully, meeting the regulations on the pandemic prevention and control. The contest was a great chance for Youth Union members and undergraduates having interest in Political Science to gain experiences and enhance knowledge. Hopefully, the contestants will always have a passion for learning, have a progressive spirit and be proactive in undertaking any tasks.
